You'll always knowwhat happens next

Most of the anxiety around wedding video comes from not knowing — when you'll hear from us, what we need from you, when the film actually arrives. So here's the whole thing, start to finish.

The Process

Six steps, andnone of them are a mystery

We keep you updated along the way, so you're never left wondering where things stand.

01

Your inquiry

It starts with the contact form

Fill out the contact form with your date, your venue and what you're picturing. You'll get an email from us right away — if you don't see it, check your junk or spam folder and make sure your email address was spelled correctly. We'll reply personally within 24 hours.

From there we'll set up a call — no pitch deck, no pressure. We want to hear how you met, what the day looks like in your head, and which parts matter most to you.

02

Reserving your date

When it feels like a fit

You sign your contract and pay 50% of your balance to reserve your date. The remaining balance isn't due until two weeks before the wedding.

03

Planning

Before the wedding

You'll fill out our planning questionnaire, and we'll use it to plan coverage around your day.

04

The wedding day

The day itself

We stay close enough to catch the moments that matter and far enough back that you forget we're there.

05

The edit

After the wedding

We build your film around your story and grade it, and edit your photos into your gallery.

06

Delivery

2–6 months after the wedding

Your photos and films are delivered through an online gallery. Turnaround depends on your wedding date: weddings earlier in the year usually get everything back in two to three months, and fall and winter weddings in three to six.

Common Questions

The things couplesactually ask us

How far in advance should we book?
At least a year out.
Do you travel?
Yes. There are no travel costs for venues within 75 miles of Grayling. Beyond that, additional travel and hotel fees may apply.
Do you do elopements?
Yes. We don't have a separate elopement film — an elopement fits into any of our collections.
When will we get our photos and films?
It depends on your wedding date. Weddings earlier in the year usually get everything back in two to three months; fall and winter weddings in three to six. Everything is delivered through an online gallery.
How does payment work?
50% of your balance reserves your date when you sign your contract. The rest is due two weeks before the wedding.
What happens if you can't make it?
We keep a select list of vendors we can call on if neither of us can be there. In all our years, we've only had to bring in a replacement once — during COVID.
What if it rains?
We shoot anyway — some of our favorite footage has come from rainy days.
How long are the films?
The main narrative film runs two to twelve minutes depending on the collection. Pre-ceremony, ceremony, speeches and reception are each delivered as their own complete film, so nothing is cut short. The film types page walks through each one.
I didn't get an email after filling out the form.
You should get one right away. Check your junk or spam folder, and make sure your email address was spelled correctly — then give us a call at (989) 372-0082 if it's still not there.
