On September 14th, 2023, AJ surprised Megan with a mystery trip to Michiganās breathtaking Upper Peninsula. Their adventure led them eight hours north to a cozy cabin on Bass Lakeāafter a slight detour where AJ almost broke into the wrong one!
That evening, they wandered downtown Marquette, enjoying dinner with stunning views of Lake Superior. But the real magic happened at Presque Isle State Park. As the sun dipped below the horizon, they walked out onto the iconic Black Rocks, the waves crashing around them.
Megan was lost in the beauty of the moment, while AJ was nervously waiting for the perfect secondāhoping the crowd would thin. Just after capturing a picture of Megan, she turned to find him down on one knee. And in that unforgettable moment, AJ asked the question that changed everything.
