Stephen & Avery’s story started in the most 2020 way possible — talking on the phone through the walls of Northwood’s campus hotel after their track seasons were canceled. What began as late-night conversations turned into a first date… and the adventure of a lifetime.
He grew up in a small farming town in the Thumb. She grew up on the fairways.
Now golf is woven into their love story — from the clubhouse she manages to the course her family has stewarded for nearly 50 years.
The proposal? A lakeside brewery near Charlevoix, a perfectly chosen ring, and a celebration overlooking Lake Michigan. 🍻✨
